Windward SeaVenture Charters is an ASA certified training school with instructors voted “Top Instructor” for 2002, 2005, 2006 and all are USCG licensed captains. Most of our instructors have over 30 years’ experience in sailing and teaching. We also offer you a discount on all charters you take with us for 1 year from your date of completion of any class with no monthly club dues or yearly fees. Our class sizes are limited to 4 persons plus instructor, so that you will have individual attention. If you prefer, we can provide private sailing lessons to suite your schedule. Our sail training is on 31' to 34' pocket cruisers for the ASA 101 class that have biminis (covered cockpits) to provide shade and full head (restroom) facilities aboard. On our pocket cruisers, you will experience the feel of a larger boat and get a better understanding of sailing dynamics over smaller “day sailers”. You will then be better prepared for the next level of ASA classes, the Coastal and Bareboat course (103/104) or "combo" as we call it. When you are ready to take the "combo" course, you will train on one of our fully equipped 38' to 41' sailing yachts.
There is a difference between ASA sailing schools, and at Windward SeaVenture Charters we believe we offer the best sailing school on the bay. Call us or come by our office for a visit. 281-467-2279
